Job Duties

In this role, you will:

Assess the needs of service users in partnership with them and their families.
Formulate and implement personalized care and support plans based on individual needs.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor service users for side effects and responses.
Carry out physical health checks, including monitoring blood pressure, glucose, and weight.
Maintain comprehensive clinical records and prepare relevant reports as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve the quality of service user experiences and interventions.
Respond to crises and emotionally demanding situations with empathy and professionalism.
Lead the clinical care for an assigned caseload of service users.

Job Requirements

To apply, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Education: Hold an RMN or a Dip/BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing.
Experience: A minimum of two years of post-registration experience, including one year at Band 5.
Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Knowledge: Up-to-date awareness of mental health legislation, ethical issues, and safety protocols.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently while adhering to professional guidelines and standards.
