Country Production Manager Details
Color me Indigo is a Ghana and New York city based responsible fashion brand and social enterprise.
Our aim is to help foster a more sustainable economy in Ghana through sourcing and producing our garments locally, and paying fair wages to the artisans we work with.
Role Overview
The Country Production Manager will be overseeing garment production in Ghana, and managing the brands relationships with local textile artisans, seamstresses and vendors.
This role will report directly to the Founder.
Responsibilities
- Partner with textile artisans and seamstresses to clearly communicate guidelines around production and ensure that products meet standards.
- Lead on fabric sourcing expeditions in Accra, collaborating with local vendors to find fabric that embodies the Color me Indigo brand aesthetic.
- Manage relationships with vendors, artisans, and photographers in Accra.
- Lead on finding new Ghana-based textile and garment artisans that our brand can collaborate with for production.
- Package and ship products from Ghana to New York City, managing the brand’s relationship with DHL and other international shipping companies.
- Represent the brands values and ideals, and be passionate about ethical fashion.

- You love fashion and are excited about the future of the garment production industry in Ghana.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You’re tech savvy – most communication will be happening online.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2-3 years of work experience.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
