Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be foreign students, not citizens or permanent residents of Colombia.
- Have a six months staying experience in Colombia before applying for the scholarship.
- Marital connections in Colombia are not allowed for applicants.
- The eligibility age limit is set at a maximum of 50 years.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of an undergraduate, equivalent, or professional qualification.
- A cumulative undergraduate average of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale is necessary for eligibility.
- Every applicant can submit applications for a maximum of three distinct courses.
- IELTS scores are not a requirement for the Colombia Government Scholarship.
- Chosen candidates must submit the Certificate of Migratory Movements after selection.
- Individuals who have previously benefited from ICETEX via the Beca Colombia program are not eligible.
