Check If You Can work with a Portugal golden visa
Yes, if you have a Golden Visa, which is a residence pass for investment activity (ARI), you can live, study, and work in Portugal. Members of the family can also work in Portugal until the golden visa runs out.
You can’t work in other EU member states, though, because you need permission to do so. Golden visa holders can stay in the Schengen area of Europe for up to 90 days in a 180-day time without a visa for tourism, business, or to see family and friends.
If you have a permanent EU resident permit from Portugal, you can work in another EU country if you apply for a separate residence permit for work. This depends on the conditions of the labor market and the number of jobs available.
Getting Portuguese citizenship gives you full access to the EU. For instance, if you were born in Portugal, you could work anywhere in the EU.
