CHECK! First batch of local government job postings out
Local government has released the list of postings to applicants who applied for the various job positions.
The list consist of all various position applied for.
Posts advertised include Assistant Budgets Officer, Assistant, Development Planning Officer. Also, Assistant Director IIB, Assistant Internal Auditor, Internal Auditor trainees, Assistant Programmers. Further, Social Development Officers, Assistant Procurement Officers and Environmental Health officers.
Appointed officers have been posted to various Regional Coordinating Councils. As such, names, posts have been attached to the respective regions. Subsequent offload to various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies shall be done at the Regional Coordinating Councils.
After receiving letters of postings from the Regional coordinating council,the Metropolitan, Municipal or the District Assembly would be expecting appointees. Work starts immediately after reporting to the Assembly.
It is however imperative to note that this is only for the first batch. Persons who have received their appointment letters but did not find their details in this list should be patient to wait for the next batch.
Likewise, the understanding is that regions like Eastern, Greater Accra and the Ashanti region are not part of the postings. Records available to the local government service have it that those region have reached the needful peak of staff.
Above all, the ministry of finance have the financial support to execute this task.
Other old regions like Central region, western region, Volta region, Northern region, Upper East and West were all given additional staff.
