Job Description

As a Chartered Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
• Compiling financial data for companies, departments, or individuals.
• Preparing audit findings and reports.
• Generating financial statements and reports.
• Utilizing accounting records to prepare income tax returns.
• Evaluating financial documents and reports.
• Reviewing accounting records for accuracy.
• Offering guidance on tax, business, and financial matters.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must:

• Possess a high level of proficiency in English.
• Hold a certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
• Have experience in accounting (an asset).
• Hold a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in technology and accounting software, including:

• Sage Accounting Software
• QuickBooks
• Caseware/Caseview
• Database software
• MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
