• Pay: CAD 19.00 – CAD 24.00 per hour
• Education: Secondary School (required)
• License/Certification: Class 5 License (preferred)
• Specifications: Dementia training and personal care knowledge are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and dressing.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition.
• Help with minor housekeeping tasks.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.

Requirements for Caregiver Jobs

• Prior experience in caregiving is highly valued.
• Valid certifications or training in personal support work is a plus.
• A patient, reliable, and compassionate nature is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A clean criminal background check is required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving abstract are needed.
