POSITION: Programs Manager – Strategic Implementation and Operations

Position Overview

The Strategic Implementation and Operations Manager will oversee the successful implementation of Care for Society Network International’s (CfSNI) Strategic Plan. This mid-level leadership position ensures that the organization’s operational framework is in line with strategic objectives, promoting effective community development and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee implementation of CfSNI’s strategic plan initiatives.

Track progress toward strategic goals and ensure alignment with the organization’s vision and mission.

Operational Management:

Manage daily operations to maximize resource utilization and follow organizational policies.
Oversee project timetables, finances, and performance indicators in order to meet strategic objectives.

Team Leadership:

Manage department heads and project managers to promote collaboration and accountability.
Mentor and support team members to improve their performance and professional development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as the key contact between CfSNI and its stakeholders, such as donors, government entities, and community leaders.
Facilitate seminars, stakeholder meetings, and public engagement events to further organizational priorities.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Establish a strong framework to evaluate program efficacy.
Use data-driven insights to fine-tune initiatives and increase operational efficiency.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate program-related hazards.
Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and corporate policies.

Communication and Reporting:

Generate detailed reports for the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
Improve internal and external communication tactics to highlight CfSNI’s mission and impact.

Resource Mobilization:

Work with finance and grants teams to seek funding and ensure financial sustainability.
Identify new financing opportunities and develop contacts with possible donors.

Required Skill or Experience

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, development studies, or a closely related discipline. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar job, particularly in the non-governmental organization (NGO) sector.
Proven experience in strategy planning, operations management, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, as well as the ability to manage a diverse staff.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Proficiency with data analysis and project management tools.
Understanding of Ghana’s socioeconomic situation and the difficulties confronting underprivileged communities.
