WHAT IS A CANADIAN STUDENT VISA?

All foreign students who wish to attend Canadian universities and who require a visitor visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA) must get a student visa and permission. The permit alone does not grant one entry into Canada. However, when used in conjunction with an eTA or a guest visa, one can study in Canada.
However, certain individuals may not require a study permit in specific circumstances to study in Canada.

To be suitable to apply for a Student Visa to Canada, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • First and foremost, possess a letter of acceptance in good standing from a designated learning institution (DLI)
  • Also, they must be at least 18 years
  • Additionally, possess a spotless criminal record, and provide evidence in court.
  • A Consent Form from the Visa Application Center must also, be completed and signed.
  • In addition, copies of your most recent immigration status in Canada or another country must be submitted.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A CANADIAN STUDENT VISA

If the bearer of a student visa for Canada satisfies the visa’s requirements, they are permitted to switch schools while enrolled. They must, however, inform the Canadian government of the action.

CAN ONE BRING DEPENDENTS TO CANADA?

Yes, your immediate family—including your spouse or pervasive partner and any minor children—can join you. However, they will need to submit their visa applications (visitor visas)
