Do you want to improve your career by working from home in Canada on foreign development projects? The Foreign Youth Internship Programme (IYIP) gives Canadian university graduates between the ages of 19 and 30 the chance to get foreign experience, skills, and information that will help them get a job in the future. What is the IYIP? How does it work?
The goal of the 2021 IYIP is to give young Canadians a chance to get professional experience by working on foreign development projects in remote areas. The goal of the IYIP is to work with Canadian professional and educational groups, non-governmental organizations, and private companies on projects in developing countries that help them become more sustainable.
IYIP Program Eligibility
If you want to apply for the IYIP, here’s what you need to do:
- Applicants must be between 19 and 30 years old.
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, but not a refugee.
- Have the right to work in Canada.
- Have never done an internship through the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP)
IYIP Program Timeline
The International Youth Internship Programme (IYIP) is no longer accepting applications, but please stay tuned for news about when the 2022 IYIP will begin. As for the dates, the United Nations in Canada took applications from June 1 to June 28 of this year.
Application Process
Once you’ve chosen the internship position you want, you should send a full CV with references and a cover letter to the organization’s official email address. In the cover letter, you should explain why you want to work for IYIP and why you’re a good fit for the role you’ve suggested.
