Job Description

Petra Securities Limited wishes to announce a vacant position for Business Support Officer to support the operations of Petra Securities.

Employment Type: Permanent

Reports to: Operations Officer

Job Summary

The role will provide general administrative assistance to the Commercial Operations Manager in managing the back-office work and reporting on sales, analyzing sales to measure performance, including performing market research on consumer trends and handling of internal operational processes.

Essential Functions

  • Validate and ensure the accuracy and completeness all new customer data provided by sales team on daily basis using the approved system.
  • Process all customer applications of retail products including direct debit mandates and ensure effective customer onboarding within agreed SLAs.
  • Provide customer services by issuing promptly customer account statements and balances; processing redemptions; executing direct debit instructions of customers and providing customer payment split schedules to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with service providers to solve all operational and customer related issues.
  • Assist in conducting research on industry trends and competitive environment to improve sales initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and executing new procedures and processes resulting in effective and efficient sales operations conducted with integrity.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales & operational reports as required.

Education

  • A minimum of first degree in any relevant discipline

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Computer Proficiency in Microsoft office suites (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
