Business Relationship Officer at Affinity

We need a Business Relationship Officer at Affinity. As the Business Relationship Officer, it’s your job to manage business customers’ expectations, find new business opportunities, and keep track of daily customer transactions so that you can meet the asset and liability targets you’ve been given.

Key responsibilities:

Customer Experience

  • Understand the customer’s business and the industry in which it operates so you can give them the right solutions.
  • Encourage customers to use digital platforms to cut down on customer frustration and service delays
  • Interact with all customers often and closely to figure out their ongoing needs and help them better understand their financial needs.
  • Process customer orders and documentation needs accurately and quickly
  • Show that you care about your customers by making sure they are at the center of everything.
  • Make sure that customer questions and service requests are taken care of as quickly as possible.

Sales Increase

  • Create and follow a plan for calling all of the customers in your portfolio.
  • Perform a full customer value analysis so you can learn about your customers’ businesses and find ways to join their ecosystem.

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new Affinity customers
  • Based on what the customer needs, offer solutions like loans, transactions, and investments.
  • Make sure that the products and services you offer customers meet their needs and that they understand how the products work and how much they cost. Avoid misselling
  • Plan sales programs and promotions for new markets with the help of the Hub supervisor and Hub coordinator.
  • With Affinity, you can make sure customers are properly onboarded and kept for the rest of their lives.

Credit Risk Management

  • Plan and carry out annual reviews of the portfolio’s credit.
  • Help customers fill out the information needed for credit applications.
  • Motivate and handle credit applications that haven’t been pre-approved.
  • Tell customers whether they’ve been approved for credit or not.
  • Monitor daily customer activities (using the tools provided) to make sure that client facilities are managed within the parameters set by Risk.

  • Provide the first line of defense against the loan portfolio getting worse.
  • Make sure the customer meets all agreements and conditions before the loan is paid out and on an ongoing basis.

Compliance and Rules and Laws

  • Make sure that all KYC and AML requirements and documents are correct and that all customers in your portfolio have enough documents (before opening an account and on an ongoing basis).
  • Use customer information to stop fraud on the front end.

Skills 

  • Strong skills in selling and keeping up with relationships
  • Critical thinker who is good at analyzing things
  • A passionate and creative problem-solver
  • Excellent planning skills to make sure the portfolio is planned well. customer-focused and able to understand what customers are going through in every situation Strong connections
  • Strong business sense to make sure the portfolio is giving the organization what it needs.
  • A curious mind with a strong desire to learn and change.
  • Digitally savvy and with a strong desire to use digital technology to drive financial inclusion
  • A good grasp of how to read financial statements and manage credit risk
  • Then, Strong ability to think in numbers

Education and training

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in any field from an institution that is known and trusted.
  • At least three years of experience managing relationships with small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
  • Finally, At least one year of experience working in a credit/risk environment.
