BREAKING: Tipped GFA Presidential aspirant DISQUALIFIED, Six others passed fit to contest
The Vetting Committee for the 2019 GFA Elections have announced a schedule for aspiring candidates for the various positions. The aspirant Tipped to win the elections, according to a poll, has been DISQUALIFIED per the vetting results.
Earlier today, the GFA Normalisation Committee received the vetting committee’s report and recommendations. The Elections Committee announced the list of candidates, according to their status, for the upcoming GFA Presidential & Executive Council Elections.
Candidates passed fit to contest are six in numbers. They are all persons with good sports background. Found below are the list of qualified candidates :
1. George Afriyie
2. Kurt Okraku
3. Nana Yaw Amponsah
4. Fred Pappoe
5. Amanda Clinton
6. George Ankomah.
What is making the news now is that of the disqualified candidate.
Wilfred Osei Palmer has been DISQUALIFIED. Palmer was considered as one of the frontrunners for the top position but it appears that he failed the integrity test after appearing before the Vetting Committee.
