Presbyterian Boys SHS (Presec Legon) Wins the much anticipated and adored 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz.
This year’s National Science and Maths Quiz has been a very competitive, educative, informative and entertaining as many Senior High Schools across the country assembled in Accra for the this year’s event. Not only, there’s been thousands of people who scheduled their time purposefully to watch this event and support their side.
Even though, the Covid-19 crisis has been a major challenge to this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz event, it did not stop the organizers of the show and participating schools from bringing it to live as participants and spectators were required to wear nose mask and Observe social distancing protocols.
This year’s finals had Presbyterian Boys SHS, Opoku Ware SHS and Adisadel College contesting to be the ultimate. The above mentioned schools were all much experienced when it came to this quiz event. Every School was however looking forward to winning this 2020 quiz competition.
After 5 rounds of a very difficult and thrilling contest, Opoku Ware SHS placed third with 21 points. Adisadel College placed second with 31 points and Presbyterian Boys SHS (Presec Legon) won the Competition with 36 points.
This victory for Presec Legon has added up to the 5 trophies they already have making it Six in the National Math and Science Quiz competition I.e 1995, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2020.
