ABOUT Mepe Area Rural Bank
Mepe Area Rural Bank Limited was incorporated in May 1989 as a Public Limited Liability Company. It was issued with a Certificate to Commence Business the same year. The Bank obtained a banking license from the Bank of Ghana in August 1991.
It commenced business officially on 16th October 1991. The Bank had made steady progress over the years. From an initial stated capital of about GH¢50.00 its stated capital has risen to GH¢1,024,988 at the end of December 2020 and is among the top 5 rural banks in Ghana.
The Bank has its head office at Mepe in the North Tongu District with a Branch at Sogakope in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region of Ghana
POSITION: Branch Manager
QUALIFICATION
- First Degree in Banking & Finance, Marketing or Economics with at least
- Five (5) years working experience, two (2) of which must be at a Management Level.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Applicant must have knowledge in:
- Providing leadership in steering the affairs of the branch in order to achieve the set goals of the Bank.
- Coordinate and control operational activities of the Branch
- Ensure the profitability of the branch
- Ensure acquisition and retention of customers by delivering the best service
- Be responsible for staff management at the branch
- Ensure the timely submission of regulatory and prudential returns to various recipients.
- Preparing strategic plans, annual financial projections, and any other plans and programs that will impact positively the profitability of the branch
- Perform any other activities that will be assigned to you by the Head, Operations/ Business Development
