Automall Ghana Limited initially started operation as the automobile division of Safe Lanes Ltd in 2008. Safe Lanes Ltd was a road safety engineering services provider. The idea of setting up Automall as a business unit of Safe Lanes Ltd at the time, was to explore the prospects of redistribution of automobile in Ghana.
Automall was mandated to develop the market for reselling of Japanese vehicles as well as providing maintenance and support services for these Japanese vehicles.
JOB PURPOSE
The digital marketing assistant is responsible for assisting in the digital marketing strategy for the company, increasing Automall’s social media traffic and assisting in communicating the company’s brand in a positive and authentic way that will attract today’s modern and connected buyer.
The job requires a highly motivated and creative individual with experience and passion for connecting with current and future customer and a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and best practices. The success of the role is measured by Automall’s social media presence and its impact on the organisation’s bottom line.
III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Device strategies to drive online traffic to Automall’s social media pages.
- Developing and managing social media campaigns.
- Recommend marketing strategies for adoption by Marketing team.
- Collate and report monthly on performance statistics on all social media channels, to be used to influence future digital marketing strategies.
- Manage the content diary for social media.
- Monitor social media for company mentions and engage with customers where relevant.
Social Media Marketing
- Increase Automall social media traffic and audience engagement through improved organic content as well as boost.
- Work with marketing manager to develop content that resonates with automobile owners and prospective customers.
- Prospect for influencers and bloggers who will augment page growth and activities on social media
Page Monitoring & Management
- Daily monitoring of Automall social media pages as outlined below. This is to facilitate quick response to customers queries using the company’s communication channels.
Creative Design;
- Design creative and communiques for social media.
- Enhance existing product and service creatives with specifications for social media and online ads.
- JOB PROFILE
Qualifications
- Qualification in relevant marketing/ Digital Sales / Design.
- Experience in social media marketing
- Working knowledge of Google ads
- Design of communication materials
- Appreciable knowledge of Photoshop
- Minimum of 12 months experience working directly with digital media
- Working knowledge and experience in product marketing and sales.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
Key Competencies;
- Excellent IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and digital marketing tools is essential.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and strategies.
- I.T Desktop Troubleshooting will be an added advantage
