The Child’s World Early Learning Group is hiring excited and dedicated early childhood teachers to work in their government-approved kindergarten rooms.

We have a number of opportunities open for our 1st or 2nd ECTs in our centers in the Cairns area. People can work full-time, part-time, or on an as-needed basis.

You can work full-time or part-time for up to 38 hours a week, or you can work 3 to 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, between 9 am and 3 pm. You have an option. You could even wish to work two or three days a week, which is OK.

Duties of Australia Early Childhood Teacher Jobs with Visa Sponsorship 2025

You will make the environment safe, fun, warm, and welcoming.
Second, you will help and implement into action a good educational curriculum.
You will also build warm and respectful relationships with families and kids.
Additionally, you will plan daily or weekly activities that help kids learn about reading, writing, math, science, technology, the environment, and other cultures.
You will also keep track of what the kids learn by making observations, writing learning stories, and using digital portfolios.
You will find kids who need extra help and work with their families and services that help with inclusion.
Lastly, you will create close relationships with parents by talking to them every day, having parent-teacher meetings, and holding family events.

Requirements for Australia Early Childhood Teacher Jobs 2025

First and foremost, you need to have an ECT qualification that is certified by ACECQA.
Second, you need to have a good attitude about helping kids and their families in our community.
Third, you need to love kids and want to make childcare a long-term job with our firm.
You also need to be very enthusiastic, have a great work ethic, and be full of energy.
You also need to be open-minded and willing to try new things.
Additionally, you need to know what the National Regulations and National Quality Standards say about what you need to do to follow the rules.
Last but not least, you need to have up-to-date training in first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma.
