Have you ever wondered how the anointing water you receive from your pastor is prepared that you believe so much in its spiritual potency?

A Kumasi-based pastor has given a shocking revelation of how anointing water is prepared, packaged and sold to unsuspecting congregants of various churches.

Osofo Obotan revealed that these pastors collect water used in bathing corpses from mortuaries which is the major ingredient mixed with potable water and put in bottles with stickers bearing their potraits as anointing water for members to buy at throat-cutting prices when in effect there is no anointing.

“I used water from bathed dead bodies in mortuaries for my anointing water. A superior pastor of mine was the main supplier. I mix it with water for Church members to drink. We buy small size bottle water and add some substance to it so that we do not get the slighted idea that it is water from dead bodies. We sell each bottle at an average of GHc20 and made a lot of money from it because we arranged with some people to come testify to the potency of the water”, he revealed in a streamed video watched by MyNewsGh.com.

According to him, he never drank the water wondering why he will do such a thing knowing very well it contained liquid waste from dead bodies.

“We convince them that when they drink it cures various diseases, gives them luck, drives away evil spirits and more. But the main rationale for selling that is to nail them completely to the church so they become permanent members and obey whatever we tell them.

Once you drink that water there is a covenant between you and the church. The liquid waste from the dead body pulls crowd so if you do not have money you would be compelled to walk to the church”, he revealed.
