POSITION: MFS Commercial Projects Manager

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will work as a Manager for MFS Commercial Projects in the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Department.
• (S)He will report to the Director of Mobile Financial Services and will be in charge of the planning, management, and implementation of all MFS technical and commercial projects to guarantee that MFS accomplishes its objectives (subscribers and revenue).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects, creating thorough work plans, timetables, project estimates, resource planning, and progress reports. Manages overall milestones from concept to delivery, ensuring budget targets are met.
• Develop and manage a bespoke program/project for all commercial and technical activities at MFS.
• Regularly lead cross-functional team development and engagement, as well as guarantee that critical milestones are met on schedule in support of overall project goals.
• Identifies critical path items, anticipates project needs and hazards, and drives the project to a successful conclusion.
• Monitor, track, and report on the performance of each initiative/program/project assigned.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative partnerships throughout the organization to carry out given obligations.
• Create, manage, and implement processes and procedures across Commercial to ensure operations and communications are streamlined, efficient, cost-effective, and compliant.
• Establish and maintain strong, service-oriented relationships with partners and internal technical teams.
• Monitor deadlines under established compliance guidelines, and collaborate with the Compliance Team to ensure reports to regulators and partners are delivered on time and within agreed-upon SLAs.
• Contributes to the establishment of metrics and processes to ensure the success of all MFS program implementations.
• Ensure that banks maintain a 99.9% service availability to consumers and take corrective action against banks that do not fulfill these SLAs.
• Serve as the principal contact between the commercial and technical teams, as well as the platform vendor, to complete configuration needs.
• Manage all pre-and post-implementation testing, as well as the actual rollout of all new products.
• Assist Finance and Technology teams in all engagements with Finance partners, such as Ghipss.

KPIs

• Commercial and technical project implementation.
• Monitoring the performance of initiatives.
• Manage technical partners (aggregators, Comviva, GHIPSS, and integrated banks).

Qualifications & Experience

Academic Qualifications

• University degree in marketing, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of IT tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written English is important.
• At least three years of experience in corporate sales or finance.
• Experience with project management.
