POSITION: Indirect Sales Supervisor
Position Summary
- The chosen applicant will be appointed as an Indirect Sales Supervisor in the sales and distribution division.
- (S)He will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will handle the company’s retail acquisition channels within the territory.
- (S)He will also coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager to reach strategic and operational objectives.
Main Duties
- Answerable and liable for the execution and oversight of organizational strategies and plans within the domain of their authority.
- Accountable for meeting distribution and acquisition goals within their supervisory area.
- Accountable for gaining subscribers via Points of Acquisition (POAs) in their designated area.
- Accountable and responsible for leading, training, and mentoring staff under his or her direct oversight.
- Oversee and educate POAs on the activation procedures.
- Sustaining and expanding the active, productive POAs base in the designated region.
- Guarantee sufficient stock of SIM and scratch cards at every POA and POS.
- Quickly relay activation goals, promotions, products, and commission framework to all POAs.
- Recognize Market and Trade prospects.
- Collect Market Insights and provide feedback to RSM.
- Designs, implements, and evaluates BTL (Below-The-Line) initiatives with outside agencies.
- Conduct market visits along the route for each Salesman or AAD at least twice a month.
- Evaluate daily performance by route with every salesperson and/or AAD within their team. This ought to be evaluated based on the established route plan.
- Guarantee proper visibility and presentation of products in all locations according to the company’s established standards.
- Organize and implement various Agent forums to guarantee that retailers possess strong product knowledge.

- Attainment of volume and value targets.
- Effective product placement in monitored outlets.
- Attaining operational benchmark criteria.
- Growth of staff
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A university qualification in any discipline or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Studies, or similar areas.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a Sales and Distribution position, with operational experience beneficial in FMCG.
- Skilled in IT software like Microsoft Office, Distribution Management Systems, and others.
- The capacity to convey information clearly and briefly in both spoken and written English is crucial.
- Strong skills in organization and time management
- Should possess execution and reporting abilities.
- Should possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
