Fellowship Coverage
The AIF completely endorses a maximum of 2 years for overseas post-doctoral training with:
- Monthly international living stipend
- Monthly support stipend (including CPF if applicable)
- Yearly return flight ticket
- Adjustment payment
- Computer stipend
- Conference funding
- Yearly individual coverage
Mid-term AIF recipients—those currently at a leading international lab—will receive the same advantages, along with retroactive reimbursements for necessary fees incurred since their training commenced.
Eligibility Requirements
You ought to: WIPO Young Experts Fellowship
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or a Singapore Permanent Resident (exceptional non-SPRs with outstanding achievements may be considered; non-citizens need to obtain citizenship before the fellowship commencement).
- Have finished a PhD in the past 4 years (or be nearing completion—degree granted upon conferral).
- Demonstrate an outstanding publishing history.
- Liberate yourself from current institutional ties.
- Have submitted (or be submitting) an application for a post-doctoral role at a leading foreign university or lab.
For Applicants of the Mid-Term AIF:
- Must be a Singaporean and currently registered in a leading international university/lab when applying.
- Your referee must include at least one supervisor from your two (02) references.
