About Role

This position suits experienced electrical engineers ready to move into (or already operating at) the Associate or Associate Director level. While direct data centre experience is welcome, it is not essential. The consultancy is open to professionals from hospitals, defence, infrastructure, industrial, or large commercial environments who understand critical power systems, redundancy, and resilience design.

You’ll lead complex electrical packages across hyperscale facilities, manage multidisciplinary coordination, and build a growing engineering team from the ground up. This role combines office-based design leadership with on-site project exposure and direct client engagement.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design delivery across hyperscale data centre projects
Act as electrical discipline lead for coordination with builders and consultants
Build, mentor, and manage a growing team of electrical engineers
Deliver complex power systems, including redundancy and backup strategies
Engage directly with major clients and construction partners
Oversee technical quality, compliance, and project milestones
Support site activities and construction-phase coordination
Contribute to strategic team growth and capability development

Requirements

Strong background in delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects
Proven understanding of critical power systems, resilience, and redundancy (UPS experience advantageous)
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a team-building role
