Job Duties

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with all aspects of the subcontract process.
  • Processing variations and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Negotiating and reviewing subcontract tenders, including preparing tender comparisons.
  • Preparing, checking, and reviewing subcontract packages and procurement schedules.
  • Monitoring subcontractors to ensure adherence to environmental commitments.
  • Preparing accurate payment schedules for subcontractors.
  • Managing subcontractor contractual risks effectively.
  • Processing progress claims, delay claims, and external variations.
  • Preparing project budgets and providing rolling final account forecasts.

Job Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally with a Tier 1, 2, or 3 background.
  • Strong financial analysis and administrative skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and project reporting abilities.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A valid Construction Safety Induction (white) card.
