POSITION: Account Officer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing bills and making sure the right WHT is taken out
- Putting together payment vouchers and making sure they are accepted before payments are made.
- Keeping the right records for all activities
- Filing and making due payments on time
- Getting reports to managers on time
- Making sure spending stays within the budget
- Putting together management papers every month
REQUIREMENT:
- How to Get an Education
- A degree in accounting or business administration is a must.
- ACCA/ICAG Partially Qualified
- Proof of having done National Service
- Experience at Work
- Need to have worked for 1-2 years.
Additional needs
- Show that you know about the Tax and Labour Laws
- The International Financial Reporting Standards are well understood.
- A good understanding of how internal controls work
- Be able to talk to people in a business way.
- Excellent conversational skill
- The ability to reach goals and meet deadlines
- Very good understanding of how to use QuicKBooks.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, especially Exce
- Having a good understanding of technology will be a plus.
