Ghanaian Premier League club, Legon Cities FC, hav officially confirmed the signing Asamoah Gyan.
Asamoah Gyan is returning to the Ghana Premier League since leaving Liberty Professionals in 2003.
It is reported he has signed a one year contract with Levon cities and he is expected to earn more than $1 million in cash and packages over the period.
The Black Stars forward has been without a club since leaving Indian Super League side, NorthEast United, earlier this year.
Much was expected for Asamoah Gyan to move to Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko, during the past weeks but things didn’t go as expected as he has now officially been signed up by Legon Cities.
Legon cities were seen to be struggling during cancelled 2019/2020 season.
Much is expected from the Black Stars striker to help the team propel ahead and find a good spot in any of their future contests.
Gyan holds the record for the most goals scored for the Black Stars, as well as being Africa’s highest scorer at the World Cup.
In addition to Gyan, Legon Cities have also signed Baba Mahama, David Cudjoe, Michael Ampadu, Foster Braimah, Vincent Adu Gyamfi and Jonah Attuquaye ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
On their official Twitter page few hours ago, The Royals confirmed the signing of Asamoah Gyan.
