The Yale School of Management at Yale University provides fee waivers on a graduate scale. The Yale application fee will be contingent upon your or your family’s current income. The application fee is $175 (INR 14,559) for those earning $30,000 (INR 24,95,869) or less per year. The fee is $125 (INR 10,399) for candidates with an annual income below $15,000 (INR 12,47,934).

Founded in 1701, Yale University is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States. The Collegiate School, established by the colonial legislature of Connecticut, was initially situated in Killingworth and several other locations. In 1716, the colonial legislature of Connecticut moved the university to New Haven, and subsequently rebranded it as Yale College in 1718, honoring Elihu Yale, a wealthy British entrepreneur and philanthropist who had made significant donations to the college. Yale’s initial curriculum prioritized classical subjects and adhered rigorously to orthodox Puritanism.

How To Request a Fee Waiver
Please follow the procedures below to seek a fee waiver. Keep your fee waiver request distinct from your admission application and send it well before your program’s application date.
- Create an application account by initiating your PhD or Master’s application.
- Complete the fee waiver form. The system may take several minutes to process and offer access to the Fee Waiver Request Form if you recently started your PhD/Master’s application.
- Submit the Fee Waiver Request Form well ahead of your application deadline. The Fee Waiver Request form will become unavailable after January 2.
- Upon submission of your fee waiver request, you will get an email within 2-3 business days notifying you of the waiver’s approval status. If your application does not receive a fee waiver, you will need to remit the application fee.
Do not submit your application fee until you have completed your fee waiver request and received a response. You cannot receive a refund for application costs you have already paid.
