Paid Marketing Manager

Job Description

You will be reporting directly to our Director of Account Management and Operations based in our Accra office. You have full responsibility over the paid marketing campaigns of our Ghanaian clients.

Your responsibilities & required experience comprise:

  • Create and manage all paid campaigns (Search Engine Marketing, Display, Social, etc.) across all platforms in order to maximise ROI (traffic, conversions etc.).
  • Troubleshoot, problem solve and find creative solutions to client-specific needs in a timely manner.
  • Optimise all paid campaign performance for best results, and manage client expectations by addressing key issues regarding paid immediately before they become problems.
  • Familiar with various advertising platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Google, Youtube, etc.
  • Optimise and create Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bing campaigns etc., with targets, goals, clear analysis and tracking for maximum ROI.
  • Analyse keywords (search campaigns) research and recommend new ones where applicable.
  • Analyse and optimise lead generation campaigns and landing pages for maximum conversion
  • Manage and maintain keyword lists, including keyword rankings for paid Search clients.
  • Familiar with A/B split testing/tools and conversion optimization for advertising platforms.
  • Setup ad support analytics, conversion tracking, remarketing and call tracking – Good understanding of Google analytics.
  • Experience with both CPC and display ads as well as mobile CPC and display ads.
  • Dissect existing campaigns that are not working and make the necessary changes to get results.
  • Identify key insights and generate regular reports.
  • Strong bias for action, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Identify relevant influencers and influencer platforms for client brands and work with them to facilitate brand engagement and ROI.
  • Create weekly, bi-weekly or monthly reports on paid campaign performance for all clients, as well as offering recommendations on how to improve paid media performance.
  • Construct media plans with input of the Account Management Team.
  • Give paid performance presentations to high-level executives
  • Ensure campaigns are meeting clearly defined objectives
  • Assist the sales team to create KPI led media plans for potential/prospective clients.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on working experience as a Paid Marketing Manager
  • Quantitative ability and an advanced understanding of digital media analytics; i.e. how to set up media analytics infrastructure to monitor and track KPIs
  • Demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn new skills independently and maintain knowledge of industry practices and new technologies
  • Possess the ability to communicate directly with clients, both verbally and in writing ● Have a strong analytical background
  • Be detail-oriented, highly organised, with a keen eye for consistency
