Full Job Description
Outfitters/pipefitters: Philadelphia, PA is the job site
Wages:
- $26.00/Hr. – $150.00 Per Diem
- If you work all 7 shifts, you get paid per diem for all 7 days.
- Travel Pay of $400
- Construction Services will pay for two weeks of lodging
- Ask a Recruiter about the $1,000 bonus.
Experience:
Applicants must have worked as a 1st Class Outfitter in a shipyard for at least 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Install pipes and different pipe components.
- Put together, test, and install packages for pipes.
- Pipe Welding
- Make foundations and put them in place.
- Assemble, test, and install different skids.
- Put in the fixtures and tools.
- Pipelines manufacture and maintenance
- Weld flanges, collars, holes, skid frames, foundations, some pipes, and some pipe penetrations.
- Put together pipelines between skids and equipment and test them to make sure they work.
- Make models of pipes that fit together.
- Use precise measuring tools to set up and align the ship’s machinery, propulsion deck, and steering.
- Work as a Machinist on the outside.
- Use resins.
- Read installation drawings and figure out what they mean.
Requirements
- Must do well on both a written and a hands-on test.
- Must pass both a drug test and a background check.
