Type of Scholarships Offered
The AWWA Scholarship Program provides various awards, ranging from $3,000 to $30,000, based on the specific category:
- Abel Wolman Fellowship: Grants of up to $30,000 available for exceptional doctoral candidates in water supply studies.
- Larson Aquatic Research Support (LARS) Scholarships: $5,000 (Master’s) or $7,000 (Doctorate) funding for graduate students.
- Dr. James K. Edzwald Scholarship: $3,000 awarded for research focused on climate change and the treatment of water quality.
