POSITION: Logistics Specialist
Job Description
This job is great for people with some experience who want to join the Align Ghana Team as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will manage our importing and exporting tasks and help with some office work. You will work with the Sales and Customer Success Teams to give updates on shipments and other important information to support our local team. This job is important for Align’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain:
- Deliver Invisalign cases and marketing products across Ghana.
- Distribute iTero and related products within Ghana.
- Manage the delivery process, including working with customs and freight forwarding.
- Handle order and goods transactions in SAP.
- Assist customers and partners with logistics solutions as needed.
- Manage import permits.
- Monitor shipments to address any issues.
- Receive, sort, and pack products before distribution.
- Create necessary reports using Salesforce.
- Prepare shipping documents like Airway bills.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders to lower costs.
- Handle orders from our online store.
- Manage stock counting, storage, and transaction reporting.
- Work with Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and Sales to maintain quality service.
- Help manage office supplies and facilities.
- Collect documents for the organization.
- Provide any other administrative support as needed.
Facilities:
- Manage facilities and support in-house events.
- Maintain facilities.
Marketing:
- Help with customer events when needed.
- Provide logistics support for events.
Customer Success:
- Directly support doctors and the Customer Success team.
Skills Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics or a similar job.
- Strong problem-solving skills and determination.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Strong skills in Excel and experience with SAP.
