According to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown popularly known in Showbiz as Akuapem Poloo has not honored their invitation.
Akuapem Poloo was invited by the CID following her nude photo with her seven-year-old son on her son’s birthday that went viral on social media.
As expected by the police, she was supposed to report at the CID office at 10:00 AM on Wednesday but she didn’t show up as of noon yesterday when the Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Police Service, Superintendent Mike Baah was speaking live on Peace FM with Nana Yaa Konadu.
According to the Superintendent, Rosemond Brown didn’t answer his phone call when he called her to find out why she didn’t show up at the time she was expected to report.
The actress was supposed to report for them to question her on the issue at hand with the nude photo and child.
Superintendent Mike Baah stated an adage “there are so many ways to kill a cat” meaning that there are so many ways they could use to get to her if the she refuses to show up. This includes a criminal sermon from the court.
He was not ready to disclose the next level of action by the CID if Akuapem Poloo does not show up till the close of Wednesday.
Working together with the Depart of Social Welfare, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Director stated that the little boy needs counseling for he has been psychologically abused by his mother.
