Position Overview

AGROPAL is experiencing significant growth and seeks talented individuals to complement our dedicated team. We are currently recruiting an Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance Department. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production through reliable electrical systems and prompt fault resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assume the following core responsibilities:

Routine Inspection and Maintenance: You will carry out regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical equipment utilized in production operations.
Breakdown Response: Responding promptly and effectively to electrical faults and equipment breakdowns is essential to minimize costly production downtime.
Preventive Maintenance: You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to approved timelines and established protocols.
Component Specialization: Maintaining electrical components of critical machinery, including boilers, dryers, conveyors, cooling systems, packaging machines, motors, and control panels, falls under your technical purview.
Installation Support: You will assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment as the company expands its processing capacity.
Safety and Compliance: Adhering strictly to electrical safety regulations, factory safety procedures, and food processing hygiene requirements is mandatory. Furthermore, you must ensure full compliance with all relevant electrical codes and industry standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate, detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment histories is a key accountability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education: A Trade Certificate, NVTI Certificate, or equivalent recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: A minimum of two years of proven work experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in basic industrial electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics accurately.
Sound knowledge of electrical safety practices and lockout tagout procedures.
Strong communication skills and the proven ability to work effectively within a team.
Capacity to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Working Conditions:

This is a factory-based role requiring flexibility for shift work and occasional weekend duties. The work environment involves regular exposure to electrical equipment, operational heat, and industrial machinery noise. Candidates must be physically fit and comfortable working under these conditions.
