Agona Rural Bank LTD seeks applications from qualified candidates for the position of Company / Board Secretary.

Duties

• Assisting the Board of Directors in adhering to the bank’s constitution and necessary enactments.
• Maintaining the bank’s books and records.
• Recording shareholder and director meetings as required by Act 992
• Preparing and sending notices in the bank’s name
• Distributing annual financial statements as required by Act 992
• Filing all statutory forms and returns with the Registrar
• Guiding the board on duties and responsibilities.
• Advising directors on their duties as directors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Requirements for this position include a degree in law or equivalent education, at least three years of experience as a company secretary trainee, membership in the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ghana.
• Must be a practicing barrister or solicitor in Ghana.
• Possess a good academic qualification or be a member of a professional body.
• Capable of executing secretary tasks.
