Ghanaian actress, Afia Schwarzenegger, born Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa jabs youth who are actively fighting for politicians.
Recently, there was a clash between supporters of both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic congress (NDC). Both parties were supposed to go on a peace walk but it turned into violence. In videos circulating on social media, supporters from both parties were seen hauling stones and bottles at each other. The incident, which happen at Jamestown in the Odododiodoo constituency, saw Youth from the aforementioned parties attacking each other resulting in injuries among some individuals. The injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. According to the police, both parties have written statements about the incident.
Following the uncompromising violence in the Odododiodoo constituency, Afia Schwarzenegger has referred to the people involved in the fight as total fools. To her, politicians do not care about them, as none of the relatives was present during the fight. She furthered that whether they live or die, the elections will still come off come December 7. She went ahead to advise them to rather concentrate on thinking about how to feed themselves than to fight for politicians.
