Aduhene Foundation is an officially registered Ghanaian non-governmental organization, and the NGO is the passionate brainchild of Mr. Kojo Botsio Aduhene.
At ADUHENE FOUNDATION, we believe in the power and impact of an educated female. Like Dr. Kwegyir Aggrey said. “The surest way to keep people down is to educate the men and neglect the women. If you educate a man, you simply educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a whole nation”.
ADUHENE FOUNDATION therefore has a sole focus of identifying brilliant but needy girls at the basic level all the way to the tertiary level of education, from vulnerable communities in the Northern part of Ghana.
At every level of the educational ladder, our goal is to support our scholars financially and mentally towards achieving educational success. We believe that every human being deserves an opportunity to sound education towards a brighter future, and we exist to support girl education.
WHAT WE DO
- We identify and grant educational scholarships to intelligent but needy girls from Basic School level through to Tertiary level.
- We mentor our scholars to believe in themselves and their capabilities.
- We provide some support to parents and guardians towards the upkeep of our scholars.

REQUEST
ADUHENE FOUNDATION is accepting applications from brilliant but needy young girls enrolled in any public school from Junior High School (JHS) Form 1 all the way to First Year University Level.
All interested applicants should be of Northern decent (i.e originating from and living in any of the 5 regions in the Northern part of Ghana), and should be able to prove that their parents or guardians are poor and unable to support them through school.
All qualified applicants within the above specified educational level should email us on info@aduhenefoundation.org for further information on completing application forms and providing relevant supporting documents.
All callers should be prepared for a brief telephone interaction to further prove their qualification to apply for the Aduhene Education Scholarship.
