Foster a Nurturing Environment: Cultivate a warm, secure, and positive classroom atmosphere that supports each child’s emotional well-being and encourages curiosity and exploration
Deliver Interactive Learning: Employ a variety of teaching methods, including play-based learning, storytelling, songs, and hands-on activities, to engage young minds and cater to different learning styles
Monitor and Assess Development: Continuously observe and assess each child’s progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining open communication with parents regarding their child’s development and milestones
Maintain Classroom Management: Establish and uphold gentle, consistent classroom routines and behavioral guidelines that promote respect, cooperation, and a positive learning community
Collaborate with the School Community: Work cooperatively with fellow teachers, assistants, and school administration to plan events, share insights, and contribute to the school’s overall mission and educational standards
Prepare Learning Materials: Organize and prepare necessary instructional resources, learning aids, and classroom displays to create a vibrant and educational physical space.

Required Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

To be successful in this early childhood education role, you will need the following qualifications and characteristics.

You must possess a minimum of an HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a directly related field.
You have at least two years of proven hands-on teaching experience, specifically at the Kindergarten or early primary level.
It is essential that you are a current resident in or around the Haatso, Ecomog, or Agbogba residential areas to ensure reliable attendance and community connection.
You demonstrate exceptional patience, creativity, and a cheerful, nurturing demeanor suitable for young children.
You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and effective partnerships with children, parents, and colleagues.
You are a resourceful and organized professional with a solid understanding of child development principles and KG curriculum standards.
