Our Role

The position of Graduate Accountant provides a road for admission into the diverse Kāinga Ora Finance environment. You will work in Treasury Settlements, Purchase to Pay, Finance Systems, Cash Management, and Payables during your first two years of our Graduate Development Program’s six-month rotations. All the while, you will be pursuing your accounting certification.

Working with individuals who are passionate about finance and positively impacting “Building Lives and Communities by Housing New Zealanders” will present you with opportunities.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, the graduate accountant will require;

• A diploma in business, economics, or accounting, or a comparable postsecondary degree
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a caring and enthusiastic attitude, and a sincere desire to attain operational excellence.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to politely negotiate and explain decisions made
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma and project management is advantageous.
