Two armed robbers have been shot dead and one has been arrested in the Ashanti region.
Others are on the run in the Ashanti Region, a statement by the Police said on Wednesday September 29.
The Anti-Robbery Task Force of the Ashanti Regional Police Command in an intelligence-led operation shot two suspected armed robbers who later died at the hospital, the statement added.
“The gang attempted to rob a gold dealer at Manso Dewusaso in the Amansie South District in the Ashanti Region on September 24 2021,” the statement said.
