Job Title: Client Service Manager (Branch Manager)

Position Overview
VisionFund Ghana is recruiting one dedicated Client Service Manager, also designated as a Branch Manager, for our operations in Kumasi. This is a Grade 14 leadership position with the core purpose of guiding a branch team to successfully achieve both social impact and rigorous business objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As the Branch Manager, you will provide comprehensive leadership and assume full accountability for your branch’s performance. Your primary duties will encompass the following:
- Operational Leadership and Compliance: You will lead all day-to-day branch activities effectively. Furthermore, you must ensure strict adherence to and implementation of all operational policies, systems, and safeguarding protocols.
- Team Development and Performance: A central responsibility is building team capacity through effective training programs. Consequently, you will strengthen staff skills in microfinance administration, client service, and product delivery.
- Financial and Impact Management: You are directly accountable for ensuring branch profitability at all times. Additionally, you must guarantee the branch meets all its predefined social impact targets aligned with our mission.
- Reporting and Administration: You will prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. These include financial statements, portfolio quality analyses, and impact assessment reports for management review.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You will represent VisionFund Ghana professionally, building strong relationships within the community and ensuring excellent service delivery to all clients.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Ideal candidates must firmly demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
- A Bachelor’s University Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Microfinance, Development Finance, or an equivalent specialized field.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience within a financial institution.
- At least two years of proven experience in a Regional, Area, or Branch Management position, demonstrating leadership capability.
- Strong business development acumen and the ability to relate effectively with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
- In-depth knowledge of microfinance methodologies, products, and services.
- A clear understanding of VisionFund Ghana’s core objectives, business model, and ethical operating principles.
- Dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated with strong organizational abilities.
- The capacity to work effectively under pressure in a goal-oriented environment.
- Must be a practicing Christian, aligned with the organization’s faith-based foundation and values.
- Moreover, candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Kumasi.
