Key Responsibilities

Architecture and Strategic Leadership

Design and implement the overall architecture for core banking platforms and backup systems.

Translate business needs into technical projects and innovate using out-of-the-box and custom solutions.
Moreover, contribute to medium and large-scale projects, aligning technology with business unit goals.

Operational Excellence and Decision Making

Resolve complex technical problems within the core and backup infrastructure.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customer inquiries and technical challenges.

Experience and Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT is required; a Master’s degree is a strong advantage.
You must possess at least seven years of progressive systems engineering experience.
Proven expertise in designing and deploying critical core platforms such as IBM Power Systems, Oracle Exadata, and HP Integrity Systems is essential.
Furthermore, you need deep, hands-on knowledge of core platform systems, storage, backup solutions, cloud computing, and integration technologies.
The role requires a solid understanding of Linux, Windows server environments, and related management tools.
Enterprise-level experience with backup, restore, and comprehensive Disaster Recovery planning is mandatory.
Additionally, familiarity with storage and SAN technologies like iSCSI, Fiber Channel, and Zoning is crucial.
Industry certifications such as AIX, ITIL, Linux, Oracle, or IBM are beneficial.
Finally, you must demonstrate high proficiency in documentation with tools like Microsoft Visio and possess strong problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
