Key Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will shoulder significant responsibility for our data ecosystem. Your core duties will include the following:

Strategy and Governance: You will design and implement comprehensive data management strategies. Furthermore, you will monitor and enforce strict data governance policies and procedures across the organization.
Quality and Integrity: A primary focus will be on ensuring total data integrity, quality, and availability for all stakeholders. You will conduct regular data audits and systematic quality assessments to maintain high standards.
System Collaboration: You must collaborate effectively with the IT department and other business units to maintain and optimize data systems and workflows.
Compliance and Documentation: The role requires ensuring full compliance with all relevant data protection regulations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain thorough data documentation and metadata repositories.

Required Skills and Professional Qualifications

Hold a minimum of an HND or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Management.
Demonstrate several years of proven professional experience in a data management or data analysis role.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving capabilities and superior analytical skills.
Show unwavering attention to detail and a deep commitment to upholding data quality.
Possess the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Display strong organizational and time management skills, enabling you to handle multiple priorities.
Have proficiency with popular data visualization tools like Power BI, or Tableau.
Moreover, familiarity with data protection laws and a proactive approach to system improvement are highly advantageous.
