Costello Medical is recruiting a Project Coordinator to join its Evidence Development team in Manchester, with additional availability in Cambridge, London, and Bristol. This full-time, permanent role offers a starting salary of £35,000 per annum and is eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship, subject to UK immigration criteria.

About Role

The Project Coordinator will support scientific project teams by overseeing administrative, coordination, and selected scientific tasks to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of client work. The role primarily supports Literature Review projects, with exposure to broader Evidence Development initiatives, including statistical outputs.

Working closely with Project Managers and Analysts, the successful candidate will coordinate timelines, manage documentation quality control, support referencing and data extraction, and liaise with clients and external suppliers. The role requires strong organisational skills, scientific literacy, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced consultancy setting.

Hybrid working arrangements are available, with structured in-office engagement and flexible homeworking options following probation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and monitor timelines
  • Conduct formatting, consistency, and quality control reviews of scientific documents
  • Support communication with clients and healthcare professionals
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, summaries, and proposal documentation
  • Screen literature for relevance and extract data from publications
  • Manage accurate referencing and preparation of reference packs
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Support budgeting, invoicing, and project management system tasks
  • Assist in developing planning tools to optimise team efficiency
  • Organise internal meetings and maintain up-to-date resources

Requirements

  • Degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in a scientific discipline
