The KOPIA Ghana Center is seeking a highly reliable, safety-conscious, and professional Driver to join our operational team. This role is crucial for ensuring the secure and timely transportation of our Director and staff, directly supporting the smooth daily functioning of our center. You will be responsible for more than just driving; you will serve as a key representative of our organization on the road, maintaining our standards of excellence and professionalism at all times.

Core Responsibilities and Daily Duties:

In this trusted role, you will ensure safe transportation while also managing the upkeep of the assigned vehicle. Your daily tasks will encompass both driving and meticulous vehicle care.

Provide Safe and Punctual Transportation: Safely drive the Center Director and other assigned staff to various appointments, meetings, and destinations both within Accra and on occasional trips outside the city
Maintain Vehicle in Prime Condition: Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance to keep the vehicle in excellent working order at all times, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
Submit Detailed Vehicle Reports: Prepare and present clear daily, weekly, and monthly status reports on the car’s condition, including mileage, fuel levels, and any necessary servicing needs.
Uphold Traffic Laws and Etiquette: Demonstrate unwavering respect for all driving laws and exhibit exceptional driver manners on the road, ensuring a calm and secure environment for all passengers.
Represent the Organization Professionally: Act as a courteous and positive ambassador for KOPIA Ghana Center through your conduct, appearance, and interactions while on duty.
Manage a Flexible Schedule: Fulfill driving duties that may require long working hours, including availability on Saturdays and public holidays as operational needs demand.

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Role:

To be successful in this position, you must meet specific practical experience and personal conduct requirements.

You must possess a minimum of three years of verified professional driving experience, including a proven record of trips both within Accra and to regions outside the capital.
You hold a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving history, demonstrating your commitment to road safety.
You have a solid basic knowledge of car maintenance and the ability to identify potential vehicle issues before they become major problems.
You currently reside in Accra, ensuring you can report for duty promptly and reliably without logistical constraints
You demonstrate the flexibility and dedication to work extended hours when necessary, including weekends and holidays, to meet the center’s transportation needs.
You exhibit a professional demeanor, impeccable punctuality, and a strong sense of discretion and responsibility.
