About the Role
As a Software Engineer at NavVis, you will design, build, and maintain Python-based production tools, including GUI applications and automated hardware test systems, that support the development, testing, and manufacturing of advanced electrical systems. You will take ownership of internal tooling used across Electrical Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software tools supporting electrical system development and testing
- Own and evolve internal tooling codebases, development processes, and toolchains
- Develop automated testing solutions used by production, quality, and support teams
- Collaborate closely with electrical, production, and quality engineering stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance within the team
- Improve data collection, analysis, and manufacturing efficiency through software solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience working in Linux environments
- Ability to understand and communicate electrical system concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or web-based UIs is an advantage
- Exposure to hardware testing or HIL systems is a plus
