Responsibilities
- Oversee daily coordination of contractor-installed MEP systems in line with approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor construction progress and document contractor activities for reporting to the Owner’s Project Manager
- Lead and participate in regular progress and coordination meetings
- Manage submittals, RFIs, and change order processes across multiple trades
- Supervise and coordinate inspection staff and field personnel
- Track project issues, risks, and schedule impacts, providing clear status updates
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and site safety protocols
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Superintendent, or Owner’s Representative
- Proven background in managing MEP-intensive renovation or facilities projects
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, CPM analysis, and cost control
- Experience with construction management software and cost estimating tools
- Ability to review engineering designs, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred
- Professional certifications (PE, EIT, CCM, PMP) considered an advantage
