Responsibilities

Operate utility locating and designating equipment to identify subsurface utilities
Mark and document underground utilities accurately in the field
Perform excavation and vacuum excavation activities as required
Interpret roadway construction plans and utility record drawings
Maintain clear, accurate field notes and assignment documentation
Perform field calculations and verify project data
Lead project assignments and supervise field activities when required
Travel to multiple project sites as part of ongoing assignments
Support related field and surveying tasks as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience using multiple utility designating technologies
Demonstrated ability to lead project assignments and crews
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of utility construction plans and records
Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and vacuum excavation
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle screening
Ability to pass background checks
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
