A respected U.S. engineering consultancy is seeking a Construction Engineer to join its Construction Management and Inspection team in Fort Lauderdale / Fort Pierce, Florida, USA. Responsibilities

Assist with field inspection and oversight of construction activities on infrastructure projects
Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, survey reports, maps, and technical documentation
Perform basic engineering data analysis and computations to support field decisions
Support project management and contract administration in line with client specifications
Assist with the preparation and review of project proposals and technical documentation
Participate in the preparation of engineering reports and Quality Assurance reviews
Carry out additional technical and project support duties as assigned by the project team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or eligibility to obtain it
0–5 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or a related field
Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to obtain project-specific certifications as required by clients
Ability to pass motor vehicle screening and work in both field and office environments
Eligibility to work in the U.S. under a TN visa or existing work authorization
