Responsibilities
- Teach dental students and residents in both clinical and didactic settings
- Practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including trauma and infection call coverage
- Participate in and develop clinical or academic research programs leading to publications and presentations
- Contribute to university, college, and divisional service and governance activities
- Supervise and mentor residents and trainees in clinical environments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across affiliated hospitals and clinics
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient care
- Support the ongoing growth and reputation of the academic surgical program
Requirements
- DDS, DMD, or internationally equivalent dental degree
- Completion of a CODA-accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery training program
- Eligibility for unrestricted dental licensure in the State of Ohio
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
