About the Role

You will join a busy, ACEM-accredited Emergency Department that manages over 25,000 presentations annually, including complex trauma cases from road, farming, and industrial incidents. Responsibilities

Provide senior clinical leadership within a busy regional Emergency Department
Deliver high-quality emergency care across a broad case mix, including trauma and critical presentations
Supervise and support junior doctors, registrars, and other clinical staff
Contribute to teaching, training, and examination preparation in an ACEM-accredited environment
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
Support departmental growth as part of the Emergency Department expansion program
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient care

Requirements

Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM), or
International Medical Graduate assessed as Substantially Comparable by ACEM
Eligibility or ability to obtain registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
Willingness to relocate to regional Victoria, Australia
Eligibility for Australian employer-sponsored visa pathways (subclass 186 or 482)
