POSITION: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Dara Capital is seeking a skilled and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage our comprehensive payment collection procedures. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all accounts receivable activities. Your primary duties will involve processing invoices, addressing overdue payments, and providing oversight to the accounts receivable function. We require an applicant thoroughly familiar with fundamental accounting principles and capable of providing end-to-end support for daily financial transactions. Prior experience in a supervisory capacity within a finance team is a significant advantage.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the full spectrum of receivable management, from task delegation to compliance.
- Assign daily tasks to the accounts receivable team in alignment with the overall goals of the accounting department.
- Oversee the timely collection of all payments and monitor invoicing procedures closely.
- Perform client credit checks and interact directly with customers regarding nonpayment cases.
- Create and maintain accurate records for all invoices, bills, and deposits.
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual receivables results, generating detailed reports for management.
- Ensure all accounts receivable procedures strictly comply with relevant legal regulations and accounting principles.
- Provide direct support and guidance to team members on their daily operational tasks.
- Stay informed about industry trends and any changes in related financial regulations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in an Accounts Receivable Manager, Supervisor, or senior clerical role.
- Demonstrate excellent proficiency with mainstream accounting software and strong skills in MS Excel.
- Have proven experience handling and analyzing large volumes of financial data.
- Exhibit strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Possess effective team coordination and negotiation skills.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional responsibility.
- Hold a BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is a valuable bonus.
